(1973) Theatre and film in the round

Thornton Wilder won the third of his Pulitzer prizes in 1942 for his play 'The Skin of our Teeth', a surrealist, but in the end optimistic work, which concerns the author's hopeful message of survival for the human race.  Treated with satire and comedy, Wilder thinks that since the beginning of time, we have managed to muddle through wars, pollution and catastrophic events and survive only just …. by the skin of our teeth.
